Exeros Technologies have been named as supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Vehicle Telematics framework for the second time running. The framework has gone live on the 24th of April, 2020 for a four year term.
CCS’s framework refers to the supply of vehicle telematics hardware, software and associated products, such as cameras and tracking solutions for equipment that are fixed or stored within a vehicle.
Exeros provides bespoke smart camera systems and fully customisable vehicle telematics software solutions to protect fleet vehicles, assets, and people. As a pioneering brand in the market, Exeros has the experience and technical sophistication to support public sector fleet operators in mitigating risk and driving performance improvements whilst drastically reducing operational costs.
“Vehicle safety technology and associated frameworks and regulations are crucial for the safeguarding of drivers and vehicles alike. In this last decade, we have witnessed dozens of near fatal misses and truly believe in the crucial importance of such technologies for road and driver safety.
With the standardisation and simplification of procurement processes through this framework, the adoption rate of vehicle telematics and smart camera systems amongst the public sector is encouraged, reducing risk of life, and improving operational efficiencies. We are truly proud to be named supplier once again.” Joe Williams, Sales Director at Exeros Technologies.
Latest official figures reporting road casualties in the UK, highlight a staggering 440 road traffic accidents a day, 70 of which being considered serious injuries. Studies also show that over 85% of road traffic collisions are caused by human error, and a 2-second early warning can prevent 99% of incidents caused by human error.
The combination of custom configured smart camera visibility systems including ADAS forward facing and driver fatigue cameras, together with a fully connected fleet telematics platform, is an essential technology for the safeguarding of drivers and road users.
Furthermore, fleet telematics management software provide a greater insight into the performance of the drivers and vehicles, resulting in considerable reductions in fuel consumption, improved uptime, reduced incident events and reduced maintenance.
Following installation and implementation of our solutions, in fact, our customers confirm dramatic improvements (up to 90%) in driver behaviour, reduction of between 80 to 90% of accident frequency and cost, and return on investments up to 600%.
To date Exeros have installed over 15,000 CCTV systems into a variety of vehicles including emergency services, highway agencies, county and city councils and local authorities to name but a few.
